Network Systems Engineer

Roseburg Forest Products is a leading producer of particleboard, medium density fiberboard, and thermally fused laminates. We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer II to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Network Engineer II will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting computer communication networks within Roseburg. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the network to provide maximum performance and availability for our users.
Key Responsibilities- Install, support, and maintain physical IT-related infrastructure, including Cisco network switches, routers, and UCS.
- Install, support, and maintain advanced collaboration tools, such as Cisco CUCM, Webex, and Video Conferencing Endpoints.
- Install, support, and maintain complex LAN and WAN infrastructure, including Cisco SDWAN, SDA, and ACI architectures.
- Install, support, and maintain Cisco Wireless LAN technologies.
- Install, support, and maintain network security infrastructure. Prefer experience with Cisco ISE as well as Cisco and Palo Alto security appliances.
- Understand and integrate state-of-the-art technology hardware and software components associated with Roseburg.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Develop technical solutions.
- Conduct system analysis using appropriate analysis models and tools.
- Conduct site surveys as required.
- Monitor the Helpdesk trouble ticket tracking system and provide Tier 2 support as needed.
- Move and/or unbox new equipment, mount racking servers, helping other Engineers with cabling, and support the installation and maintenance of data center power and cool infrastructure.
- Provide on-call support 24/7/365.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and 3+ years' experience working in an IT-related field, such as local area networks, wide area networks, or communications.
- Ability to deliver quality service that meets or exceeds all customer expectations.
- Ability to retain composure, maintain perspective, and respond in a professional manner.
- Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain effective relationships with subordinates, peers, and leaders.
