Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist at Cypress Dental Excellence, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with our team to deliver exceptional patient experiences and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans and treatment protocols.
- Current dental hygienist license in Texas.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- New Grads welcome.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year.
