Far Rockaway Center is seeking a dedicated Practical Nursing Specialist (LPN) to join our compassionate team. We offer a competitive base salary of $30.13, along with an additional 10% shift differential for evening and night shifts. A generous sign-on bonus of $5,000 is also available.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, your duties will include:
1. Gathering essential information from new residents for admission.
2. Documenting health metrics of residents, including vital signs and temperature.
3. Administering prescribed medications and injections as required.
4. Providing care for wounds and bedsores.
5. Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) when necessary.
6. Assisting residents with dressing and personal hygiene.
7. Monitoring residents' dietary intake and output.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid LPN State license in good standing with the State Registry.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
