Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team at St. John's Episcopal Hospital. As a Pulmonary Care Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of patients.
  • Assess and Monitor Patient Status: Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patients' clinical status to identify potential issues and provide timely interventions.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Perform Venipuncture and IV Starts: Perform venipuncture and start intravenous lines safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Active RN License: Possess an active registered nurse license.
  • Education and Experience: Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical setting, with at least 1 year of experience in coronary care practice.
  • Certifications: Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
