Job Title: Patient Navigator

Vaco Staffing is currently hiring a Patient Navigator for a Temp-to-Hire position in the medical field with a receptionist-type role. The position is based in an in-office setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Guide patients through healthcare services and ensure a smooth experience.
  • Assist with insurance and financial issues, providing support and guidance to patients.
  • Coordinate care among healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Address barriers to accessing care, identifying and resolving issues that may hinder patients' ability to receive necessary treatment.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and providers, acting as a liaison to ensure clear understanding and effective care.
  • Advocate for patients' needs, representing their interests and concerns to healthcare providers.
  • Refer patients to community resources, providing access to additional support and services.
  • Provide front desk support, including managing check-ins and appointments, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for patients.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in healthcare or patient advocacy, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a customer service background.
  • Empathy, patience, and ability to work with diverse populations, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for patients.
