Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting. This role requires strong assessment and critical thinking skills to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, monitoring for reactions and side effects.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period.
  • One year of recent ICU or Emergency experience is strongly preferred.
