Job Summary:

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner Critical Care Specialist to join our team. As a critical care nurse practitioner, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. You will work in an inpatient critical care area and may order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. A Master's degree in Nursing and current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment are required. Two years of experience as an RN are also necessary.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness
Work in an inpatient critical care area
Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests
May prescribe medication

Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing
Current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment
Two years of experience as an RN
