Job Summary

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist Lead to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our MRI suite, ensuring that all procedures are performed with the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of work and delegate tasks to MRI technologists and other staff members.
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of work flow to ensure that all procedures are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that all prescribed diagnostic procedures are performed according to department standards.
  • Recommends personnel actions, including performance appraisals, hiring decisions, and progressive disciplines.
  • Assists with monitoring performance improvement plans and ensures compliance with laws, government regulations, and DMC policies.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
  • Two or more years of progressively more responsible MRI technologist work experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse atmosphere and communicate effectively with patients and hospital personnel.
  • Knowledge of American College of Radiology requirements for accreditation and physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training.
