Position Overview

The CNC Machining Specialist is responsible for programming and operating a variety of machines to manufacture aerospace components, parts, and tools. This role requires a skilled individual with substantial experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Programming and operating a diverse range of CNC machinery, including both manual and computer-controlled equipment, to produce aerospace components and tools.
  • Utilizing machines such as Mazak 5-axis, Hurco 3-axis with 4th axis rotary table vertical mills, Haas 3-axis vertical mills, Cincinnati FTV vertical mills, Fryer 3-axis with 4th axis rotary table vertical mills, Fryer CNC lathes, Bridgeport mills, and various grinders.
Work Environment and Schedule

This is a full-time position with a first-shift schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7 am to 3:30 pm
  • Overtime may be required as necessary
  • No night or weekend shifts
Essential Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Master Cam Programming
  • Experience in CNC Mill and Lathe setup and operation
  • Ability to conduct quality inspections on CNC Mills and Lathes
  • Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Possession of personal tools required for the role
  • Prior experience in a machine shop environment
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening prior to employment and during random checks throughout the year

  • Experience with manual machine setup and operation
