Position Summary: We are looking for an Aircraft Assembly Technician II with a solid background in aerospace and aviation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and adjustment of aircraft structural components and system parts.
Essential Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace/aviation or equivalent mechanical background.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Expertise in precision work with close tolerances.
- Competence in operating hydraulic mule pumps, fixtures, and jigs.
Desirable Skills:
- Possession of an A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license is preferred.
- Familiarity with Solumina and Smarteam software is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and fine-tune aircraft structural components and system parts.
- Rig control cables, sectors, linkages, control surfaces, landing gear, and doors, engines, cowls, and aircraft entry doors.
- Remove and replace system components; cut and fit system lines for necessary repairs.
- Ensure the quality and efficiency of all installations; perform required rework to meet compliance standards.
- Install system lines, valves, and ducts to ensure a leak-proof system.
- Utilize a variety of tools, including permaswage pumps, dies, and line cutting tools.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, such as MIR sheets.
Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $24.00 to $26.00.
