This role involves greeting donors, unloading donations, sorting, preparing, and tagging items for sale. You will work as a team player to support the store's resale mission, serving the community and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet donors and safely unload donations from vehicles
  • Manage the organization of incoming donated items, including sorting, preparing, and tagging for sale
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and donors to understand their needs and sales opportunities
  • Foster a team environment with staff and volunteers
  • Assist with identifying donations for Poshmark advertising
  • Follow safety and security practices, reporting hazards and injuries to the Store Manager or Team Lead
  • Facilitate offsite donation pickups as assigned
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements

  • Related work experience in retail sales
  • Ability to use a cash register, calculator, credit card processing machine, and make change accurately
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English required; Spanish language fluency a plus
  • Proficiency in basic technological tools, including laptops/computers, email, phones, internet, and Microsoft Office Suite
