Position Summary:

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities associated with the observation and tracking of video EEG in the Pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (PEMU). The Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of pediatric patients undergoing EEG monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure continuous and effective video and audio surveillance of EEG patients utilizing XLTEK equipment, promptly addressing any recording issues that may arise.
  2. Maintain and disseminate current recording status updates for ongoing continuous EEG assessments.
  3. Engage in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  4. Execute various job-related tasks as assigned to support the unit's operations.
