Responsibilities
  • Clean the dog's teeth to maintain their oral health
  • Maintain a positive attitude to create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
  • Calm an anxious dog to make them feel comfortable and relaxed
  • Ensure company policies are being followed to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur to keep them clean and looking their best
  • Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur to achieve the desired look
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work with other groomers to achieve a team goal
  • Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds
  • Grooming experience of 2 years or more
  • Calming presence to soothe anxious dogs
  • Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Great communication skills to effectively interact with clients
  • Ability to work on a team to achieve a common goal
