Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Princeton Community Hospital Association, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced non-invasive imaging procedures for Cardiac Laboratories, including echocardiograms and stress tests.
  • Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely completion of procedures.
  • Obtain information for specific procedures, answer patient questions, and provide courteous service to patients and their families.
  • Document procedure results and notify medical staff of significant abnormal findings.
  • Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures from procedure data to aid in diagnosis.
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas.
  • Complete accurate documentation through EPIC to ensure proper billing.
  • Support the development of junior sonographers and participate in education and in-service opportunities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Echocardiography or Ultrasound Program and certification in Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, lift 40 pounds, and possess keen visual acuity.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, motivation, and drive for continuous development.

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care.

Additional Information

This is a non-exempt position with a scheduled weekly hours of 40. The shift is day, and the company is Princeton Community Hospital Association, Inc. The cost center is 130 PCH HVI EKG and Cardiac Rehab.
