Job Description

Climeworks is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our project delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects that align with our goals and visions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and expertise in identifying design, schedule, cost, quality, and reliability risks.
  • Work with project disciplines to provide detailed technical information on rotating equipment.
  • Support the design process to deliver a complete design package to the organization.
  • Coordinate with external partners and EPC contractors to ensure meeting schedule and technical quality.
  • Support the EPC Mechanical engineering group to produce FEED, detail design, and mechanical deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 10 years' experience in process plants as a mechanical rotating equipment engineer.
  • Experience working on at least one project in chemical, petrochemical, or renewables' industry as an Owner or Owner's representative.
  • Familiarity with API and ASME standards, Hydraulic Institute documents, and Power test codes.
