Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx in Elk Grove, CA. As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional presence at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss and dishonesty.
  • Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide to ensure preparedness in emergency situations.
  • Wear a complete Company-approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to maintain a professional appearance and ensure customer safety.
  • Greet customers with courtesy and respect, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department, observing and reporting any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management.
  • Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management to ensure a secure environment.
  • Adhere to all Company Policy and Procedure, documenting required incidents in AIIM Case Management.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to take initiative and perform well independently.
  • Prioritize and organize workload effectively, managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • 0-2 years retail or security experience, with a passion for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment.

This position has a starting pay range of $16.00 to $18.25 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
