System Engineering Program Manager

At Apple, we are seeking a highly skilled System Engineering Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hardware engineering group, you will be responsible for driving new product development from concept review to first customer ship.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in program management or hardware engineering, with a strong track record of leading multiple teams in new product development. A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, with electrical or mechanical engineering being preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system hardware, features, and schedule baseline.
- Manage program baseline and active investigations, system schedule, critical paths, and technical risks.
- Identify and highlight engineering risk areas and partner with engineering subject matter experts to develop mitigation paths forward.
- Clearly communicate project status, top issues, and escalations to the project core team along with senior leadership.
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to inspire team members, and outstanding communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and possess demonstrated critical thinking capabilities.
