Job Summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist II to join our team. As an Imaging Specialist II, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures in multiple modalities, including X-ray and CT, with a focus on providing quality patient care and assisting physicians as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Verify patient identification and pregnancy status

Implement safe, efficient, and therapeutic care

Assist Radiologist in procedures while practicing sterile techniques to prevent cross-contamination

Perform proper procedure on proper patient

Demonstrate knowledge of universal precautions

Observe the patient, report any changes in status, and initiate appropriate action to ensure a positive outcome

Requirements

Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA-approved school

Meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent

ARRT Certificate - ARRT

Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit - CA Department of Public Health

Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - CA Department of Public Health

AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association

IV Certification (NPTA Sterile Product Certification) - Various-Employee provides certificate

Preferred Qualifications

1 year CT experience

ARRT (CT) certification
