What are we seeking in our Remote Clinical Trial Lead?


The Scientific Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is collaborating with a dynamic medical device organization that has an opening for a Remote Clinical Trial Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, monitor, and achieve clinical operations objectives
  • Offer guidance and leadership to the clinical operations study team while overseeing daily clinical operations management and execution
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for all phases of clinical operations activities, from initial study design through to close-out
  • Identify potential risks that could affect the overall project timeline
  • Develop, revise, and/or contribute to the creation of clinical trial-related documents, including but not limited to:
  • Study protocols, training materials, case report forms, informed consents, IRB submissions, source documents, timelines, clinical monitoring plans, reference manuals, supply listings, monitoring tools, presentations, and meeting materials (agenda and minutes)
  • Facilitate functional strategy discussions, study meetings, and alignment meetings as necessary

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive experience in all facets of clinical trial design and execution
    • At least 8-12 years of relevant experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, IVD, and/or CRO environment
    • A minimum of 5 - 8 years leading clinical study preparation and monitoring, as well as managing study teams
  • In-depth understanding of the processes related to study preparation, study management, and knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), monitoring, clinical, and regulatory operations
  • Technical proficiency in various aspects of the clinical evaluation process
  • Proven track record of significant contributions to the success of planning and executing clinical strategies in support of product clearance
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Additional Information:

  • Remote position
  • May require travel up to 25%-30% of the time as necessary; some international travel may be involved
  • Position type: 6+ month contract with potential for extension
  • Compensation range: $60-76/hr based on experience
