Role Overview
The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer is to spearhead and implement standardization and continuous enhancement initiatives aimed at elevating safety, service, quality, and cost-effectiveness within our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of standardization initiatives.
- Engage in plant process support with on-call availability as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to meet business objectives, collaborating with various teams across the organization.
- Develop reporting tools and track progress for designated business areas.
- Assist and support the efforts of fellow engineers and plant departments in related projects.
- Communicate updates on continuous improvement projects, including progress reports, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions.
- Train team members and shop floor personnel on best practices.
- Analyze and recommend technological changes to enhance safety, service, quality, and cost.
- Execute assigned continuous improvement projects and identify new opportunities for enhancement.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial technology is preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Self-motivated, organized, and energetic with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
