Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical ICU Nurse to join our team. As a Surgical ICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing required
- Minimum one year of telemetry experience preferred
- Current RN license from the state in which you reside
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required
- American Heart Association ACLS certification required within orientation period for ICU/CCU, SICU, and CVICU
