Job Summary

Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a skilled RN Surgical Telemetry Unit Full Time Days candidate to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide direct clinical patient care and assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing required.
  • One year of telemetry experience preferred.
  • CCRN preferred.
  • A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS is required within 6 months of hire for PCU.
