Job Summary

The Registered Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures. You will work closely with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results. Your expertise will be essential in producing high-quality images, maintaining patient comfort and safety, and educating patients about procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Produce high-quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Address equipment malfunctions and notify management
  • Assist with scheduling procedures and monitor patient priority
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing
  • Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
  • Basic Life Support certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist
