About the Role

Cleveland Clinic's Southpointe Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join their dedicated team of caregivers. As a vital member of the Radiology department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of patients and providing computed tomography imaging and patient care services at defined levels.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients prior to CT studies, verifying demographic data and medical history.
  • Acquire and review patient charts, requisitions, and medical problems to determine correct room setup and contraindications.
  • Verify patient safety and comfort during procedures, educating patients on equipment and exam procedures.
  • Perform daily quality assurance, maintaining all aspects of the CT area, including technical and clerical components.
  • Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS, transmitting images and paperwork as needed.
  • Process billing via RIS, observing equipment dysfunctions and reporting problems to appropriate individuals.
  • Provide coverage as needed, instructing and mentoring new hires and Radiology students.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in good standing.
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
