    5. Contribute to the creation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the resilience of essential business functions.
  2. Establish and monitor security measures: 25%
    1. Analyze and oversee the effectiveness of security controls.
    2. Conduct security evaluations as necessary, identify weaknesses in the current security architecture, and propose enhancements.
  3. Collaborate with Tier 1 engineers: 15%
    1. Support the deployment of software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches.
    2. Observe systems for unusual activities and establish preventive measures and incident response protocols.
    3. Assist with examinations, audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
  4. Support the Chief Information Security Officer and Security Team: 15%
    1. Document security requirements and controls to safeguard information, systems, and technology assets.
    2. Define and record the impact of new technologies on the existing security posture.
    3. Provide insights on security requirements for inclusion in requests for proposals (RFPs), statements of work (SOWs), and other procurement documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience.
  • Possession of industry-recognized security, network, or other professional certifications from organizations such as SANS, ISC2, Microsoft, Cisco, and Offensive Security. Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, GIC, CISA, CRISC.
  • Ability to articulate and present complex issues and concepts clearly, tailoring communication for diverse audiences; effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with industry/regulatory requirements and frameworks: ISO27001, SOC2, PCI/DSS, SOX, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking principles (e.g., Windows, LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, cloud services).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in a dynamic environment.
