Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Project Development and Implementation: Lead the development, implementation, and automation of NCB's security projects, initiatives, and security controls, including effective security monitoring and alerting.
  • Security Architecture and Risk Management: Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats, create solutions that align with enterprise security architecture frameworks and standards, and participate in risk assessments for new technologies and projects.
  • Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Develop, execute, and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and architecture, conduct analysis and monitoring of security controls, and perform security assessments as needed.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Consult with Tier 1 engineers on troubleshooting, configuration, and maintaining security infrastructure software and hardware, and assist the Chief Information Security Officer and Security Team with documentation and procurement activities.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of related experience with a bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience.
  • Industry-recognized security, network, or other professional certifications.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues and ideas with precision and clarity.
  • Experience with industry/regulatory requirements and frameworks, including ISO27001, SOC2, PCI/DSS, SOX, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CIS.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of networking and ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
