We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of HR-related programs and initiatives. This role will be responsible for handling HR-related questions and issues, documenting conversations with employees, and communicating concerns to the HR manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR support to employees, including answering questions, resolving issues, and documenting conversations.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including creating new employee orientation packets and offboarding paperwork.
  • Review timecards to ensure warnings are issued timely and intake medical notes and related timecard adjustments.
  • Order and track employee uniforms and lockers, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Work with security access software to create badges for employees and temps.
  • Report safety and quality issues to management immediately.
  • Partner with others to share knowledge, skills, and information within the team and across functional areas.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or AA degree.
  • Two+ years of experience in HR or Customer Service.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Effective computer skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
Work Schedule:

8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with options for afternoon shifts.
