Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Computer Engineering Researcher to engage in pioneering hardware initiatives that serve national interests. This role emphasizes the research and development of state-of-the-art computer architectures, prototype creation, and leading laboratory demonstrations. You will collaborate with various esteemed organizations and contribute to significant conferences, enhancing technologies related to CMOS and Beyond CMOS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and develop groundbreaking hardware solutions.
  • Design and prototype significant advancements in computer architecture.
  • Lead laboratory demonstrations and disseminate findings at prominent conferences.
  • Create designs for applied research programs backed by major sponsors.
  • Utilize advanced tools and collaborate with research laboratories on computing systems.

Qualifications:

  • Proven record of publications in areas such as computer architecture and chip design.
  • Expertise in hardware design using Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL.
  • Experience in system modeling with programming languages like Python or C++.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setting.
  • U.S. citizenship is required; eligibility for a Top Secret clearance is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing proposals.
  • Knowledge of FPGA-based development or application mapping.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools and scripting languages.
  • Understanding of graph-based or EDA algorithms.
  • Experience with neuromorphic computing approaches.
