Job Overview
As an Inventory Specialist II, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels, including stockroom management and POU replenishment
- Analyze and maintain inventory reports to ensure customer requirements are met
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members
- Apply Practical Process Improvement methodologies to optimize inventory processes
- Access and apply Thermo Fisher Scientific's Intranet and SharePoint document management system
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of progressive, relevant experience in inventory management or a related field
- Ability to lift 30-40 pounds, with occasional lifting of 50 pounds
- Regularly required to stand or walk for prolonged periods
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
