The University of North Texas System is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach courses in Music History, Theory, and Ethnomusicology. This is a part-time, non-tenure track position that will involve teaching a variety of courses, including music history, music theory, and ethnomusicology.
Responsibilities- Teach music history, music theory, and ethnomusicology courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Develop and implement course syllabi and lesson plans
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Master's degree in music-related discipline
- Terminal degree in music-related discipline and relevant experience preferred
- Ability to teach a variety of courses in music history, music theory, and ethnomusicology
