Advanced Practice Provider - Outpatient Neurology
Piedmont is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to enhance our outpatient neurology services. This is a full-time role with a Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic without on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient neurology medical care to patients in the Newnan/Coweta County area, focusing on conditions such as seizures, migraines, and cognitive impairments. Collaborate with two General Neurology physicians to expand patient volumes and enhance accessibility to care.
- Promote health and wellness while managing both acute and chronic neurological conditions.
- Support physicians in delivering high-quality medical services to patients.
- Gather and document patient data, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order laboratory tests, and facilitate professional consultations while providing direct patient care.

Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a neurology environment.
Must hold a Master's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited PA program and have National Board Certification.
Alternatively, candidates may be licensed as a Nurse and authorized to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Georgia with National Certification.
