Job Summary

The Student CT/MR Technologist is responsible for maintaining regulatory and professional standards, demonstrating strong decision-making capabilities, and working closely with Radiology leadership, radiologists, and medical staff to provide cost-effective and patient-focused services. This role involves providing care for patients undergoing CT/MR procedures using approved workflows and procedural protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with patient transport as necessary.
  • Consistently completes all exams and documentation in CHL and PACS.
  • Consistently and accurately identifies all charges associated with studies.
  • Addresses errors and resolves issues related to final product being sent to PACS.
  • Consistently demonstrates commitment to safe practices and supports Just Culture.
  • Completes all annual competencies by designated timeframe.
  • Exemplary model using AIDET, service excellence, and service recovery.
  • Performs routine and special exams consistent with established protocols to minimize repeat examinations.

Qualifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology, Imaging, or related educational program.
  • Required: 0-1 years in Healthcare-Radiologic Technologist.
  • Required: ARRT (RT-R) successfully passes CT/MR Registry (within 12 months of accepting this position).
  • Required: BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
