Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture
  • Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed
  • Assist radiologists in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing patient care
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and maintain examination room cleanliness
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • 5 years of experience in CT scanning or related field
