Mammography Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist PRN to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a PRN technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our breast imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mammography, breast ultrasound, and biopsy/invasive breast procedures under mammography, stereotactic or ultrasound guidance.
- Comply with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures, and the Code of Business Practices.
- Verify and follow doctors' orders in patients' charts, initial patient charts when exams are complete, start/remove IVs when necessary, and safely administer contrast media with power injector.
- Transport patients to and from ER and other imaging areas when assistants are unavailable, move patients on and off the exam table, organize and prioritize patient exams for best workflow, and communicate effectively with customers - physicians, co-workers, patients, and their families.
- Graduate of JRCERT-accredited School of Radiography.
- Must be ARRT registered in Radiography and complete requirements for CEU for re-certification. BLS certified.
- 6 months clinical experience in Radiography or Mammography. Ability to organize work and handle multiple projects/priorities. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. High level of knowledge of breast anatomy and pathology.
