About the Role

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at Soliant Education, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of speech and language therapy services to individuals of all ages. Our team is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every client can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assist the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting assessments and evaluations of clients' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Therapy Implementation: Implement individualized therapy plans and strategies as directed by the supervising SLP, providing direct therapy services to clients in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document clients' progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising SLP.
  • Resource Preparation: Prepare and organize therapy materials and resources to ensure a smooth and effective therapy process.
  • Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with other professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive support for clients, participating in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field required; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Certification: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders, strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting is a plus.
