Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join our team at Republic Elite, LLC. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing work orders, coordinating with maintenance technicians and production personnel, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Order Management: Evaluate non-emergency work requests, develop scope of work, and inspect job locations to determine job requirements.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Estimate labor hours, skills, parts, materials, equipment, and special tools required to complete proactive jobs in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Documentation and Verification: Gather relevant technical documentation, verify part availability, and arrange for special tools and auxiliary equipment as needed.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain a planned and organized ready work order backlog at or above 4 weeks of crew available capacity.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Conduct weekly scheduling meetings with production personnel to determine work order priorities, communicate work order status, and alter planned maintenance activities as necessary.
  • Technician Scheduling: Create a weekly technician schedule that includes priority planned jobs that utilize 100% of the available technician labor hours for the upcoming week.
  • Continuous Improvement: Employ the cycle of continuous improvement process to create/update reusable Job Plans with technician feedback.
  • Equipment Data Management: Responsible for maintaining the integrity of equipment data (Bill of Materials) in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Training and Support: Train site employees on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure it is being utilized.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Follow all safety regulations, promote positive safety behaviors, and perform work area and production area housekeeping.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree required in a technical field with 1 year of maintenance scheduling/planning experience and/or 3 years as a machine repair technician, or equivalent combination of both.
  • Experience: Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and familiar with industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office applications, and excellent analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Qualifications: Self-motivated with strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional skills, teamwork, project management, and organizational skills.
