About the Role:

The Shift Leader is a key member of the Caribou Coffee Operating Company, Inc. team, responsible for leading store operations and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team to achieve sales goals, maintain high standards of quality and service, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead store operations, including managing inventory, scheduling, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to set store goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching and feedback, and recognize employee achievements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, adhering to company standards and policies.
  • Manage store finances, including cash handling, bank deposits, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and address customer complaints, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, communicating changes to the team.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of leadership, retail, or customer service experience.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
