Job Overview
The DSD Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service delivery to both internal and external clients of Upstate Niagara Cooperative. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the company's offerings and a collaborative approach within the Customer Service Department to effectively assist customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prompt and precise information regarding customer order statuses and product inquiries.
- Facilitate the processing of customer orders and modifications in accordance with established departmental protocols.
- Manage customer returns following set departmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Credit Department to address and resolve any disputed credit issues.
- Adhere to the daily work plan and maintain a structured schedule for customer calls, reporting any discrepancies to the DSD Customer Service Supervisor.
- Document daily activities related to scheduled calls.
- Perform data entry for incoming customer orders.
- Promote ongoing company-endorsed promotions to customers.
- Log and communicate all customer feedback and complaints.
- Provide timely updates to management regarding service disruptions or customer concerns.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree is preferred.
- Prior experience in Customer Service or telemarketing is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Availability to work on Saturdays and select holidays.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying start times and days off.
