Responsibilities
  • Carry out tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards
  • Conduct test drives and assess components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is a plus
  • Experience and skills in Diagnostics, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to use electronic diagnostic tools
  • Strong customer service skills and basic computer proficiency
  • Positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
