Job Summary

Volt is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AP/AR Clerk to join our team in Mesa, AZ. As an AP/AR Clerk, you will be responsible for processing transactions, managing invoices, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable ledgers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Processing: Verify, classify, compute, post, and record financial data with high accuracy.
  • Invoice Management: Prepare and disburse invoices to customers and ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Collections: Identify past due accounts, contact customers for payment, and maintain accurate contact logs and correspondence.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Maintain Records: Ensure financial security by following internal accounting controls and maintaining historical records by filing documents.
  • Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries and resolve any discrepancies related to billing and payments.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in handling financial transactions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve account discrepancies and handle customer issues effectively.
