We are looking for a dedicated EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Training Specialist to manage our training initiatives effectively. This role demands a self-motivated individual capable of organizing and executing EHS training programs with minimal oversight, showcasing exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and oversee training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently.
- Maintain and track training documentation, including attendance records, assessments, and certifications.
- Act as the main contact for inquiries related to EHS training.
- Effectively communicate training schedules, requirements, and updates through various channels.
- Collaborate with external vendors for specialized training content as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute training materials, including handouts and presentations.
- Ensure compliance of all training programs with relevant EHS regulations and standards.
- Generate and present regular reports on training activities and outcomes to management.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory changes to keep training programs effective and relevant.
- Facilitate EHS training sessions, ensuring engaging and clear presentations.
- Support the EHS Safety Trainer with practical training exercises to reinforce learning.
- Address participant inquiries and provide additional assistance as needed.
- Evaluate training program effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary.
- Minimal travel may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the EHS Training Supervisor.
- High School Diploma required; AA/AS Degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in training coordination or EHS management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficient in training software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Forms).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and show initiative.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for assessing training effectiveness.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
Pay Range: $18.52-$20.15 per hour, based on skills and experience.
