This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cohesive team focused on delivering enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in acquisition management across an entire product line, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
  • Coordinate products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the preparation and staffing of all Milestone documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Determine contracting strategy, prepare contracting documents, and coordinate activities with Army Contracting Command, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Participate in product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Provide contract oversight for assigned products, ensuring compliance and adherence to contractual requirements.
  • Assist in preparing and managing the program budget and master schedule, driving financial and operational excellence.
  • Support the preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment, ensuring smooth handovers.
  • Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other acquisition documents, providing clear and concise guidance.
  • Perform financial and status reporting, as well as basic logistics activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Assess cost, schedule, and performance risk, providing expert analysis and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years or more of experience in acquisition management, contracting, or a related field.

Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
