We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students in our local community.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct speech and language therapy services to students. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students\u2019 speech and language abilities.

  3. Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small group settings.
  4. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students\u2019 academic and social development.
  5. Monitor students\u2019 progress and adapt intervention strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress reports, and billing records.
  7. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  8. Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  1. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  2. Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  3. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain.
  4. Experience working with students in educational settings is preferred but not required.
