In this role, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. This opportunity presents an exciting chance to contribute to our mission of designing and delivering life-changing care for children and families.

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with children, preferably those with autism. A bachelor's degree in a human service field is preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. The successful candidate will also hold a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or be willing to obtain it through our training program within the first 45 days of employment.

This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including late afternoons and evenings, and a valid California Driver's license with reliable transportation. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$32 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we provide opportunities for professional development and continuing education, as well as tuition reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend Cortica's orientation and complete BCAT training">
  • Implement positive behavior strategies developed with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)">
  • Work in various settings, including home, community, school, clinic, or other designated areas, providing direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan">
  • Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes">
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures, such as preference assessments and data collection">
  • Represent Cortica professionally in written and spoken communication, as well as through professional dress and demeanor">
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely">
