Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Associate to join our team in San Jose, California. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the field sales team in achieving sales targets and expanding our customer base.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive project work streams and close opportunities.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities and develop penetration strategies with the extended sales team.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and day-to-day contacts at customer sites.
  • Conduct data analysis and gather insights to inform sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver proposal collateral and financial ROI models.
  • Effectively handle objections and communicate the value proposition of Bloom Energy's solutions to customers.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure seamless communication between the sales team and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5 years of overall experience, with 2-5 years of enterprise sales experience preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of financial models and energy market variables that underpin customer economic value.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex issues and data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
