About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Wipfli. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing audit, review, and compilation engagements, as well as providing performance feedback to team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audit, review, and compilation engagements, including planning, budgeting, and risk assessment.
  • Partner with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners to assess risk and develop audit procedures.
  • Oversee daily operations of audit engagements, including staffing, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
  • Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
  • Assist clients with GAAP compliance and the adoption of FASB Accounting Standard Updates.
  • Serve as an instructor in firm training programs and meetings.
  • Participate in community, networking, and business development activities.
Requirements
  • CPA license required.
  • 5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in audit and assurance.
  • Ability to travel to client sites.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
