About the Role:
The Harrison Steel Castings Company is seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing our managerial cost accounting systems, ensuring accurate cost measurement and analysis for the production of steel castings and supporting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and implement cost accounting systems to measure costs associated with steel casting production and supporting services.
- Develop and implement pricing policies, including tracking and analysis to ensure optimal pricing strategies.
- Oversee continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies to drive business growth.
- Evaluate capital expenditures and conduct cost-benefit analysis to inform make vs. buy decisions.
- Utilize cost accounting systems to accurately measure costs and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Two years of experience working as a Cost Analyst.
- 12 months of experience in each of the following areas: implementing pricing policies, overseeing continuous improvement, capital expenditure evaluation, cost accounting system utilization, and working with Microsoft PowerPoint and statistical software.
