The Senior Supplier Relations Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic and operational initiatives across key product categories.

This position involves conducting financial assessments and evaluations of supplier programs, including rebate proposals, contract valuations, cost-saving initiatives, and proposals from new market entrants.

The analyst will provide essential support throughout our contracting lifecycle and the launch process, facilitating new items and suppliers that contribute to EBITDA growth for Covetrus in-clinic and our Rx management platform.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop financial and analytical models using Excel and other tools to manage product and supplier proposals that align with business objectives.

Assist in the development, direction, and execution of new and replacement products, new suppliers, current assortment evaluations, product expansion, and rationalization processes.

Independently identify new product and supplier options to bolster the overall business strategy and growth for Covetrus Proprietary Brands.

Support negotiations of contracts, rebates, and agreements with suppliers to enhance profitability while ensuring our sales team has a comprehensive and competitive product portfolio.

Maintain and proactively oversee the contract pipeline, including the early identification of significant contract renewals and negotiation opportunities.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to address operational challenges that arise with our suppliers, both internally and externally.

Foster collaboration with internal business partners, including commercial, finance, supply chain, and legal teams, to enhance the efficiency of commercial execution through new suppliers, branded product introductions, and Covetrus Proprietary Brands.

Document and uphold Standard Operating Procedures for essential business functions and processes.
Implement and support portfolio strategies utilizing standardized sourcing and supplier management processes along with professional program management practices.
Demonstrate value contribution to the organization by utilizing key performance indicators to monitor and report progress.

Identify projects that can influence business growth, provide regular updates on project performance, and report on EBITDA impacts to the business.

Monitor the execution of strategies and compliance with contracts.
Support supplier business reviews and attend trade shows as necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in engineering, management, or business administration.
4-6 years of experience in a related field (supply chain, procurement, sourcing, etc.).
Demonstrated business acumen with a strong ability to leverage strategic sourcing to drive business value.
Structured approach to program management with a proven track record of delivering results across multiple projects.
Cross-functional experience, with knowledge or prior experience in sourcing systems and operations being advantageous.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and collaborative skills are essential.

Proven proficiency with Excel and database management.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary may vary based on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

The pay range for this position is as follows:
$53,000 - $99,100.00.
