Job SummaryThe Team Leader Patient Service Assistant plays a critical role in leading and guiding the daily operations of the Patient Transport team. This position is responsible for ensuring the functionality of the transport track software to facilitate timely and safe patient transport for discharges, departmental clinical tests, and other tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain staff competency and provide training and mentoring to team members
- Conduct safety audits and system tracking reports to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement ongoing system improvements to enhance services offered
- Assist with supervision and coordination of the Patient Transport team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience in patient transport and leadership is preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration or a related field is preferred
