The Patient Safety Specialist provides constant observation and support to patients who require a higher level of care due to safety concerns. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role is critical in ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients.

Frye Regional Medical Center is a 355-bed acute care hospital and 81-bed Behavioral Health facility, providing a wide range of medical services to our community. We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide constant observation and support to patients who require a higher level of care
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses to ensure patient safety and well-being
- Assist with patient care activities as needed
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care skills
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
